En "Apple Car" kan presenteras innan årets slut

Det har länge cirkulerat rykten kring en potentiell, kommande Apple Car, efter att Apple och Hyundai under fjolåret inledde en konversation kring utvecklingen av bilen. Då föreslogs det att produktionen skulle kunna kicka igång redan 2024. Nu verkar det som att de första prototyperna på bilen skulle kunna presenteras redan innan årets slut.

I en intervju med Reuters tidigare i år, diskuterade den japanska kemisten Akira Yoshina Apples expansion inom bilindustrin, och nämnde att en Apple Car skulle kunna komma att presenteras redan 2021:

“Apple could lead the convergence of the automotive and information technology industries in future mobility. Tesla has their own independent strategy. The one to look out for is Apple. What will they do? I think they may announce something soon. And what kind of car would they announce? What kind of battery? They probably want to get in around 2025. If they do that, I think they have to announce something by the end of this year. That’s just my own personal hypothesis.”
