H.E.R. släpper debutalbumet 'Back of My Mind'

Efter flera år i branschen släpper nu R&B-sångerskan H.E.R. sitt första studioalbum. Hon har tidigare varit aktuell med projekt som I Used To Know Her och H.E.R. med Volume 1 och 2.

Nya skivan Back of My Mind innehåller 21 spår, och gästas av artister som Ty Dolla $ign, Cordae, Lil Baby, Thundercat, Yung Bleu, DJ Khaled, Bryson Tiller och YG. Albumet består av produktioner från Hit-Boy, KAYTRANADA, Cardiak, Rodney Jerkins, DJ Camper med flera.

“I’ve been working on for the past two years, three years, there’s songs on there that I wrote in 2017 that I realized were perfect for this project. But I just was like, ‘Let’s just make good music. Let’s just make great music. Let’s just see what happens. Let’s not try to make this sound or try to make this sound, or, oh, it needs to be cohesive with this or consistent with this.’ It was like, ‘Let’s just make great music and have a good time. Let’s set the instruments up if we need to. Oh, let’s try this sound.” And that was the energy towards it.’” berättar H.E.R. till Zane Lowe
