'Jeen-Yuhs'-regissörerna berättar om Netflix Kanye West-dokumentär

Nu kan du höra en diskussion mellan Coodie Simmons och Chike Ozah, regissörerna bakom Netflix-serien Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy. Det är ett samtal där de berättar om sina relationer till Kanye West de många år de jobbat med honom.

För att ta fram serien har de gått igenom över 267 timmars material. Vi får följa med genom en 10 minuter lång video där de bland annat diskuterar sitt första möte med Kanye West.

“I remember he had the one beat that JAY-Z picked later on in life called H to Izz-O. I was like, this is so ill. Here was this kid with braces, talented. This dude is not scared, he’s not scared of nothing […] It’s funny to see the hours of footage that was shot. All the places that we went, and because we were following our passion, it felt like was just kicking it. If you follow your passion and your purpose in life, being creative just makes you happy.” säger Simmons.
