SoLonley släpper EP:n ''Flowers From You''
Kärlek och känslostormar på SoLonely's efterlängtade debut-EP, innehåller tre nya och tre tidigare släppta singlar
Lyssnare har väntat i tre år på ett uppföljande projekt till SoLonley’s album Still Alone, och nu är EP:n Flowers From You äntligen ute. Vi får höra artisten utforska sina singer-songwriter-talanger med en rad ballader som ställer aukustisk pop mot en mörkare trapestetik.
Medan detta är artistens första längre projekt på tre år har han dock arbetat produktivt däremellan och släppt en strid ström av singlar. Av den nya EP:ns sex låtar är fans redan bekanta med tre, eftersom ”What I say, what I do”, ”It won’t be fine” och ”it’s all in your head” tidigare blivit släpta som singlar.
Om projekten har artisten själv sagt följande;
”Broken love, questions about love, not knowing what love is, the EP is the feeling that you think it’s love but when you ask yourself what love is, you can’t pinpoint it, which makes something feel off but a lot of it still feels good”. This EP means a lot to me, and its songs came purely from the heart.
A lot of the songs weren’t pre-written at all. I’ve just recorded word for word and whatever emotions I had that came out of me, I’m now sharing it with the listener. When doing the EP there where and still is things I was wondering about such as is this love, or like in “dirty lens” where I start with ”so I think I love you, but I don’t know what to do”
