Spotify tar bort shuffle-knappen för album
Inspirerat av Adele och releasen av '30'
Streamingtjänsten Spotify tar nu bort shuffle-knappen när det kommer till album. Du kommer alltså inte kunna sätta en platta på shuffle längre. Anledningen till det är att lyssnarna ska ta in albumet i den ordning som artisten planerat.
Den här förändringen ska vara inspirerad av ingen mindre än Adele. När hon släppte albumet 30, bad hon streamingtjänsten ta bort shuffle-knappen. “[…] We don’t create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason.Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended.” skrev hon på Twitter.

Det här är en funktion som påverkar Spotify’s premium-medlemmar. De berättar att det är en funktion som länge efterfrågats av så väl lyssnare som artister.
“As Adele mentioned, we are excited to share that we have begun rolling out a new Premium feature that has been long requested by both users and artists to make ‘play’ the default button on all albums,” the rep said. “For those users still wishing to shuffle an album, they can go to the Now Playing View and select the ‘shuffle’ toggle,” säger en representant för Spotify.
