Den världskända hiphop-stjärnan Juice WRLD gick bort tragiskt i december 2018. Innan hans bortgång hann rapparen släppa projekten Goodbye & Good Riddance, Death Race For Love och Future & Juice WLRD Present … WRLD ON DRUGS. Under fjolåret kom hans första postuma album – Legends Never Die. Det märks att fansen saknat hans musik, då skivan snabbt klättrade på topplistorna. Nu hintas det om ännu ett kommande postum-projekt.
Det nya albumet väntas få namnet The Party Never Ends, en hint till Juice WRLD’s medverkan på ”NO BYSTANDERS” från Travis Scott’s Astroworld. Under gårdagen delade Juice manager Peter Jideonwo detaljer kring skivan under en Instagram Live.
Vad fick vi då reda på kring skivan? Jo – vi kan förvänta oss mycket Juice WLRD. Enligt Jideonwo kommer albumet nämligen inte inkludera mer än fem features – och”a big collab” när det kommer till omslaget. ”The Party Never Ends is going to be the best album, not only musically but creatively. We got a big collab on the album cover and also the merch. Everything about it is fire. We’re not just doing some basic music…we’re taking our time to craft a classic you’ll talk about for the next ten years.” säger Jideonwo.
Det har tidigare ryktats om att albumet ska släppas redan i juli. Det dementeras dock av Jideonwo, som dock menar att det kommer släppas i slutet av sommaren: ”We want ya’ll to turn up, that’s the whole concept. The concept of The Party Never Ends is so you can party in the summer and it never ends. Feel good music.”
The Party Never Ends är den första delen av en trilogi av album. Jideonwo berättar dock att alla delarna kommer släppas separat vid olika tillfällen. Så nu kan vi bara invänta del ett – The Party Never Ends.
