GRAMMY 2020: Här är alla vinnare

Billie Eilish kammar hem fem priser

Natten till måndag gick den 62:a GRAMMY-galan av stapeln i Staples Center i Los Angeles. I år var Lizzo nominerad i 8 kategorier, följt av Billie Eilish och Lil Nas X med 6 nomineringar. Även J. Cole, Beyoncé, Nipsey Hussle och Ariana Grande var nominerade i flertalet kategorier.

Den stora vinnaren blev Billie Eilish som kammade hem fem priser varav: årets skiva, årets album, årets låt och årets nykomling. 18-åringen är den yngsta genom tiderna som vinner i de fyra stora kategorierna. Under hennes tacktal för ”Årets album” för det hyllade WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? så tyckte Billie att Ariana Grandes Thank U, Next förtjänade priset.

”Can I just say, I think Ariana deserves this,” sade hon. ”Thank U, Next … I think it deserves more than anything in the world. I love you so much.”

Tyler, the Creator som uppträdde på galan vann årets rap-album med IGOR. Även Nipsey Hussle vann priset ”Best Rap Performance” med låten ”Racks in the Middle” tillsammans med Roddy Ricch och Hit-Boy. Även stjärnskottet Koffee vann pris för årets reagge album.

Under galan hedrades Kobe Bryant och Nipsey Hussle av artisterna. Kobe Bryant dog bara timmar innan i en helikopterolycka där 8 andra människor avled varav ena var hans 13-åriga dotter Gianna. Alicia Keys öppnade galan med att hedra Kobe och att platsen de befann sig på arenan som Kobe ”byggt”. Många av artisterna som uppträdde på scen hyllade basketlegenden på olika sätt.
